1. Visiting the bank to get internet banking set up ensures that your identity and account ownership are verified securely. This step is essential to prevent fraud and unauthorized access to your account. Additionally, the bank can provide you with the necessary credentials and instructions for setting up your internet banking profile securely.

2. Entering the details of the recipient, such as their name, account number, and bank information, is crucial for ensuring that the funds are transferred to the correct account. Accurate recipient information prevents errors and ensures that the transaction reaches the intended party promptly and securely.

3. The processing time for funds depends on several factors, including the type of transfer, the banks involved, and the time the transfer is initiated:

Internal Transfers: Typically processed instantly or within a few minutes if transferring between accounts within the same bank.

Domestic Transfers: Usually take one to three business days if transferring between different banks within the same country.

International Transfers: Can take several business days, typically three to five, depending on the countries and banks involved.

Transactions initiated during weekends, holidays, or outside of normal banking hours may experience delays, with processing starting on the next business day.
